This free application was designed to help the Filipino people to learn and improve their language. The dictionary is based on the 1732 book written by Fray Diego Bergano, which was published by the University of Santo Domingo in 1902.
The dictionary contains the entire text of the book translated into English. It also includes the 1732 definition of Kapampangan, the pre-Hispanic equivalent of the English term, and the pronunciation of each word, the audio of the pronunciation, the pre-Hispanic kulitan equivalent of each word, and related articles from the Center for Kapampangan Studies special issue on Bergano.
The dictionary is very easy to use. You can search for the definition of a term, and you can also search for its pronunciation. You can also listen to the pronunciation of each word.
